Meet Our Staff

Richard BolgerRichard Bolger

Richard Bolger is the owner and founder of Old Virginia Title LLC. In Virginia,
he is certified as a settlement agent by the Virginia State Bar under the Consumer
Real Estate Settlement Protection Act (CRESPA).

Mr. Bolger graduated from the George Mason University Law School in 1983.
He has been a Virginia lawyer since 1983. Mr. Bolger is also licensed to practice
law in Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He has successfully handled thousands
of legal matters, including jury trials, financial and real estate transactions,
bankruptcy cases, family law cases, and more.

 

Michelle Bracken

     Ms. Bracken is a paralegal and licensed title agent for the states of Maryland and Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is the firm’s primary contact on real estate transactions such as purchases and refinances of residential and commercial properties. Ms. Bracken has been employed by the Bolger Law Firm since 2006. Prior thereto, she was employed by the Goodwin Law Firm in McLean, Virginia. She graduated from the Northern Virginia Community College, magna cum laude, with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.

 

Cynthia Matukonis

Ms. Matukonis is a Senior Paralegal and licensed title agent for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Ms. Matukonis has been employed by the Bolger Law Firm since 1987, when she graduated from Northern Virginia Community College, cum laude, with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has also earned numerous credits at George Mason University. Over the years, Ms. Matukonis has served as Mr. Bolger’s primary paralegal on a gamut of law cases, from bankruptcy cases, to personal injury cases, estate litigation, criminal cases, family law cases, and more.
